Actually, it is a normal behaviour : this border is drawn by the inactive tabs.

If this doesn't suits you, it is possible to use other variations for this vertical menu :

• the inverted pointing variation (used horizontally on many other screens, the settings for exemple)
  
• the secondary pointing variation (in this case, the whole border around the list of documents could be removed)
  

Which one do you prefer ?
